my intention was to post the best bits of the sonia rykiel pour h&m collection today, but as I went on hm.com to see the collection in whole I realized there was only one pair of underwear I actually liked. that underwear got to be a part of a collage then.

the powder pink roses on the underwear kind of tempt me so I think I have to go and get my own on Saturday....and apparently they're made of silk. maybe a little Christmas present for myself?

honestly, I haven't been very excited about the h&m collaborations in the past. think roberto cavalli, viktor&rolf, matthew williamson, jimmy choo... not my cup of tea. the stella mccartney collection, the only one I can imagine I would have liked, came out long before I could appreciate ms mccartney's eye for design.
this sonia rykiel collaboration, on the other hand, is pretty successful to me. even though most of the underwear isn't the kind that I would wear the designs are gorgeous and work very well as a combination. the sweaters and other things designed by ms rykiel will hit the stores in the spring, looking forward to that...

  1. there wasnt really anything great about the SR for H&M collection..i mean really only those rose ones that yu posted were cute..the slippers they had were kinda tacky and i dunno i think alot of the H&M brand lingerie was better than the SR collaboration. yah hopefully the next collection will be better!

p.s. those glasses are amazing!! I love posts with spectacles :D

  2. DNYCE, I agree completely after seeing the collection! I reckoned it seemed nice online but it was actually a disappointment. I got the rosy lingerie I put in the collage though:-D the knitwear better be good!!

and I love specs!! I have so many different ones even though I don't even have to wear glasses. I just wear glasses with plastic lenses.... my favourite specs don't have any lenses at all and I really want to take them to an optometrist and get some window glass lenses on them!
